I think it's about time..

..for another post.

Again, never fear, all of the photos are safe. Though I do need to remember to take my camera out of the house more. I do all these exciting things of an evening (to the point where I *really* need to factor in some Dee Time), and I often come home and remember I need to take a photo before bed. Cue running round the house thinking of an Interesting Thing to shoot.

Let's see, since last post, which appears to have shockingly been done in October, I have:
- played in many more ceilidhs. The ceilidh updates will also continue. I have now played a total of 13.
- learned more double bass. I'll be playing Carnival of the Animals at Rumpus soon. I need to practise more.
- finished my Gorjuss cross stitch. And another mid-sized flower one. I've started two mini pieces, and have two terrifyingly giant cross stitches to be working on.
- really got the bug for Scottish Country Dancing. Really.
- been offered a very interesting proposal to do with cakely baking..
- got a choir rolling at Red Gate.
- thought some more about what I actually want to do.
- made a lot of cake.
- lost touch slightly with the "student" side of my life.

Currently listening to The First Days of Spring, mostly on a whim. I'm quite enjoying it, and wishing that Spring really would appear. It's damn cold.

Right. Back to the grindstone.

Oh my

Over a month "behind".

I say "behind" (yes, quotation marks, Sarah!), because I have been keeping up! I have a photo for every day, I just haven't uploaded them. Most of this is only having an *ancient* laptop at home, and having a sieve for a memory in terms of bringing the SD card to work.

So yes. One day, hopefully soon, when I can pinch some time on a borrowed laptop, there will be a bit of a gigantic upload.

Sorry for the delay.

Slipping.

Woah, I suck!

Completely forgotten to upload twice! Though, to be fair, photos have been taken on the relevant days. I don't know when I'll get round to uploading them - I need to remember to being my camera to work, clearly. Internet has been funny at home.

It's for this reason I'm two episodes behind on Doctor Who and The Great British Bake Off (!!)

These things must be fixed soon.

Tonight I went to a murder mystery dinner party. I was Carmen Roller, the hairdresser's receptionist (part time accomplice to Antonio Sangria, who was a secret people smuggler. I went along with him because I was madly in love with him, wanted to spend more time with him, and got involved with the smuggling, which also supplemented my part time receptionist salary). This is Buster Gut, who is a computer whizzkid. He also managed to sneak £5 million from a London bank, and move to Costa Del Dosh with his "earnings". He was a computer programmer, so I suggested he wear a certain t-shirt..

A brilliant night - thankyou Buster and Nesta (Tables)!

I decided yesterday that I was going to bake cakes for the Agency. It's been far too long since I made cake with scales, and correct ingredients, and it makes me happy. Hopefully they will make the Agency happy too : )

They are Devil's Food Cupcakes, with rolled fondant toppings. I also used a bit of my new silver lustre dust : )
